"This is personal training at its best."
Erica is an experienced trainer, who works with a variety of athletes and understands the challenges and injuries they face. She is an astute observer of various off-site, downstream effects and muscle compensation and weaknesses resulting from previous injuries. She addresses your injury or concern but also addresses other abnormalities that may have developed as a result, and she helps you recover from both, as she implements a plan that is designed specifically for you. This is personal training at its best. Her knowledge of anatomy and of targeted ways to strengthen different muscle groups will make you a stronger athlete and more confident about what you should be doing on your own to maintain the gains she helps you achieve. Erica’s workouts vary regularly, so your challenges advance as your capacity grows. Workouts are fun and interesting and her explanations are empowering. She also happens to be one of the nicest and most positive people I’ve met. I cannot endorse her more highly!

FAQ
I’m an athlete, can Brick help?
Yes. Classes and private sessions are designed by CSCS, NSCA professionals. NSCA has been pioneering the industry through sound academics, science-based research, and strength and conditioning coaching. The important components of physical fitness are incorporated into programming to improve mobility, strength, agility and power to help with performance in your sport. While the classes aren’t sport specific, the generalized components will help you improve the qualities you need universally.
I’m not an athlete, can Brick help?
Yes. There is an athlete within all of us and the same scientific principles apply for our outdoor adventurers, the gardening we love to do in spring, the casual round of golf with friends, or keeping up with kids in the backyard. We help you become strong in the gym, so you can do the activities you love outside of the gym.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Memberships can be canceled at any time. We ask that personal training and small group sessions be canceled 24 hours in advance, and classes be canceled 2 hours prior to the session.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
We offer a free towel service and have a water fountain/water bottle filler available. Mats are provided for yoga classes at no additional charge. If you have a specialized mat you’d like to bring, please do!
Do you offer nutrition services?
We partner with Fuel NC for all nutrition needs. Their foundation is built on teaching sustainable practices for a lifetime, not just a few months. They will help empower you to make foods fun and satisfying while also making choices that improve labs, feel stronger and have more energy throughout the day. Areas of expertise include: Sports nutrition, diabetes and pediatric nutrition. They accept insurance.
For those interested in pairing strength and conditioning with nutrition we offer a “Getting Started Package.” Inquire via our contact page.
Do I need a membership?
No. Drop-in options are available for everyone. If you’re in from out of town, or just stopping by for a workout, feel free to join us.
